In cybersecurity news, Google has added the Gemini artificial intelligence (AI) sidebar to Gmail, which ups its AI game for users.
The web feature, which goes live today – offers proactive prompts and lets users submit any open-ended question. Further, Gemini AI capabilities will be embedded into Docs, Sheets, Slides and Drive.
Meanwhile, on mobile, Gemini will monitor the threads of your email conversations and give you some breakdown summaries for Android and iOS devices.
Contextual Smart Reply and Gmail Q&A are upcoming features. These enhancements are available to Google Workspace customers who have purchased a certain Gemini SKU, as well as those with a distinct Google One AI Premium subscription.
